About MHEA
Mississippi Home Educators Association [MHEA] seeks to enable, equip, and encourage families committed to teaching their children at home. MHEA accomplishes this goal through its annual conferences and through its affiliated local support groups.
- We enable Mississippi home educators by monitoring and influencing state and national proposed legislation, supporting or opposing it as necessary.
- We equip Mississippi home educators by sponsoring programs that inform and educate prospective and veteran home educators.
- We encourage Mississippi home educators to excel in their academic programs and to instill biblical principles which will produce the next generation of godly leaders.

MHEA is a Christian ministry dedicated to assisting – according to Biblical principles – those families who are committed to the education of their children at home. It is also our desire to strengthen the local support groups and their leadership, thus making them effective in their ministry to the home educators of Mississippi.
